Full Mouth Disinfection Protocol from £420
Periodontal surgery to access and treat non responding sites, remove individual diseased roots or re-sculpt  gum form to improve access for cleaning. Surgical rate of £220 per hour

Advanced Periodontal Care
This involves surgery to help treat areas of advanced disease. This may involve surgery to remove diseased roots (leaving the rest of the tooth in place), or manipulation of gum position to make cleaning easier. It can also be used to correct localised bone defects using the latest generation of evidence based bio materials. These promote bone regeneration using either specific proteins   Straumann® Emdogain or a combination of bone matrix and a dissoluble collagen membrane Geistlich Bio-Gide / Bio-Oss
Until surgery begins and the treatment site can be visually assessed we will not know which material, or procedure will be the most appropriate. We will discuss with you in advance what the possible treatments will be, and the fee will be itemised into our surgical fee + cost of any regenerative materials we use. Please note these are animal derived products - please refer to the manufacturers web site for full details.

David has completed post graduate training in the provision of this type of care and recent advances in both how the materials work, and their evidence base means we are now confident they will provide a worthwhile result for patient's in whom they are appropriate (which isn't everyone).

Like most dentists in general practice, we do not perform all these procedures on a regular basis, so if after we have assessed the case it looks to be more complex than we are used to dealing with e may recommend a referral to a specialist in this area - a periodontist. This would usually be to Garstang Dental Referral Practice.

Fees based on a surgical rate of £220per hour + materials cost (approximately £160 - £250)
